This video makes me so happy. It reminds us that a good game of Dress-Up can be fun at any age, and trend setting isn’t about labels it’s about swagger. Almost a decade ago jessicajoan and I made a music video about thrifting. If I can dig it up I’ll post it.
Usually I would pass on shearling but for some reason I’m really feeling it for this winter season. Maybe it’s got something to do with all the “we’re quitting our jobs and moving to Alaska” talk Mr. Jordan has been doing lately. That most likely will not happen, but this jacket just might.

take me down to bangle town! and i’ll have some lovely leather goods too please
Love this IRO Agnette distressed bouclé-tweed jacket. It’s just the right amounts of refined and deconstructed. Plus it’s red, which is like the new gray. Not really. But if only I can find it somewhere for around 70% off the retail price…
Maison Scotch. Nailed it.
you can never go wrong with BLACK AND WHITE. any season, any occasion, any figure.
Despite Fall season’s official arrival, I’m still soaking up these last few days of warm weather with styles like this Dolly Parton inspired ensemble found on Greedy Girl
love these little totes from the Falcon Wright 2012 fall lookbook. the color pallet and patterns are so current and accessible without being too trendy. I want one of each.
I’ve always heard people say that kids grow so fast and now I know how true that is. I don’t understand why children’s clothing is sized by age rather than by weight. Some brands (such as Baby GAP) have both age and weight but most just categorize by 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, etc. Vera is barely 3 1/2 months old but as she is my daughter, she is larger than average of course. She has only worn most of her clothing one time before it’s too small. Now I have a big pile of onesies that don’t fit but they’re just so darn cute I decided to cut them up and make shirts and dresses out of them.
